The memories shared today brought back so many good times for me growing up as a child living two doors from the McKenzie family. The cupboard in the kitchen with all the goodies in it, the oven on to keep warm, the open-armed welcome no matter what. The McKenzie home was akin to my second home and I loved hanging out there, I felt the love from Mrs. Mac and even felt her discipline too 😅 The laughter, the tent days & nights, sleeping outside in the yard and our sleepovers all of which were a whole lot of fun. Johnno and the coaches, I was privileged to go on many a day trip, including the first visit to Phillip Island. Sunday school, going on the bus with Mr Rigby was also something we grew up with. Mrs. Mac, you have a heart that burst wide open for all of us and you had quite a sense of humour too. Your presence on earth will forever be cherished and ingrained in our hearts as memories.🌹 Much love and sincerest condolences to Johnno, Shelley, Stewart, Scott, Kelly, Evelyn as well as all the grandees 🌹

Mrs Mac, you will be missed by everyone. I remember as a youngster the trips johno would do in the bus for all the neighbour hood kids, they were the best. You were also mums number 1 avon customer. Condolences to all the family.xx

Such a beautiful, inspirational, loving, caring and funny woman. A woman who was loved by all, the absolute glue that continuously held everyone together. You will be oh so missed by all who had the pleasure to have known you. May you rest in peace, spread those angle wings. Aunty Lesley i only have fond memories of the times we had together, you had the biggest heart to everyone and every animal, forever in my heart . Condolences to all Love Sharon Tyler and Ray xxx

You were a good sister and we rarely argued although as teenagers in the 60s one night you were rolling your hair up in big rollers and you would not turn the light out until you were finished. After that we never had a cross word. You were a good mum to your family and i know they all loved you as I did. I will miss you very much. Till we meet again. Your sister heather. xxx
