Obituary For Elizabeth Tucker

Loved and loving mother of Tammy and Lance.
Remembered Always.

We welcome everyone to contribute a memory of Liz (anonymous or personally attributed) in the form of a short paragraph, even a short one liner, which will be included in the eulogy or at the wake, please email to tammy.atlee@outlook.com

Please feel free to express yourself just as Liz did, wearing a pop of colour.

Funeral Service to Celebrate the life of Elizabeth Tucker will be held in the Chapel of Repose, Altona Memorial Park, Dohertys Road Altona North on TUESDAY (February 20, 2024) at 2:00pm

Following the service we welcome everyone to the Wattle Lawn area for the Burial Service, this service is not limited to immediate family.

A Polish food and beverage affair will follow at the Polish Club, Albion, 3.30pm.

Due to Bubby’s current health and her own personal journey with dementia, the family has made the decision that her attendance at the funeral would be detrimental to her health. A private gathering where Lance, Tammy and Bubby can reflect on Ella’s life has been arranged.

My first meeting with Elizabeth, was in Grade 4 (1960), as we sat together at the same desk at St Albans East Primary School. We both got on quite well with each other at the time. From that time on I never forgot Elizabeth. We had a chance meeting outside the William Street Park, as she was off to do some shopping with her shopping jeep. We got chatting and I then drove her to do her shopping and back home. We exchanged phone numbers. We started seeing each other and formed a great relationship. We did some great traveling. Cairns, Darwin, Perth, NZ South Island, Etc. My dream was to grow old together as, Elizabeth was my Soule Mate. Sadly it didn't happen. End off the day, Elizabeth; you will always be in MY HEART and DREAMS. Argie Argods Purmalis.

I'll never forget the day Lance walked around the corner at the house and Liz saw his crazy hair colour and screamed in surprise. I laughed for about an hour. So did she. It's the laugh I hear when I think of her.

To a dear friend of over 60 years. 'Those who touch our lives forever stay in our hearts'.

I've zero doubt that my love of patterns, colour and bold fashion choices, was in part influenced by Liz. I love even more that even now, a fashion choice by Lance often prompts a series of: "Is that Liz's jacket? Your mum would love that. No, seriously, is that Liz's?!" Sooz x
