Obituary For Carmen Sammut

We are mourning the loss of Mrs Carmen Sammut. Loving and beloved wife to Michael (dec.), devoted mother to Alexia, Johann, mother in law to Michael, Joanne and doting grandmother to Lucas, Zachariah, Michela and Eloise.

Forever in our Hearts.

The Rosary & Requiem Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Caroline Springs on FRIDAY (12/06/2026) with the Rosary at 11:30am followed by Mass at 12:00pm. The cortege will then proceed to Altona Memorial Park, Correa Lawn area to lay her to rest.

    You might have chosen a new better home dearest sister but the memories we share together will stay with us forever. You were my first playmate, my first teacher, my big sister. We loved each other, we shared most of the toys and games we had. You were always very generous despite the little we had. We will never, never forget the most beautiful time we had we we visited Australia. We had the best time of our lives. We laughed so much, we cried, we ate so much, we could not face any more food, but mostly you were the centre of our joy, you hosted us. It was not easy having 5 siblings in one house but you loved it so much. Dearest Alexia, Johann, Michael, Joanna, Lucas, Zacharaih, Michela and Eloise. You were the reason Carmen lived. You were her world and loved you all the same. We love you dear sister and you will be missed by all of us. Rest in peace. Condolences to all the family.

    My Auntie Carmen ❤️ she was a beautiful woman with a great heart of gold.. she was my Godmother I chose her cause I loved her from the beginning.. she teaches me how to do crochet i use to go and stay weekend and with my cousins Alexia and Johan we shared lovely moments and now memories that I will never forget and will carry them in my heart I love you Auntie Carmen and thank you very much for everything that we shared together for sure you now in better place that called heaven ❤️ until we meet again rest in peace my dear auntie Carmen 🙏

    Dear Auntie Carmen, I can still hear the sound of your gentle voice in my head. You only ever had nice things to say, and always had a smile on your face. You were always ready to help mum whenever she needed a babysitter for us. I still remember the boxes of used cards and scraps of material in the garage which you turned into crafts and proudly showing us your garden. A very dedicated mother, and grandmother.     You were always so calm and joyful auntie. I still remember all the sweet things you used to cook for us like cookies, madelines and apple crumble. All the days spent at the bmx track with you watching johann and antoine cycling around. I wish we could be there with you and now we won't get that chance. But you are forever in our hearts.

    Wish we could be there to comfort you in your time of need. auntie Carmen nothing but fond memories. She used to spoil us rotten and give us anything we wanted when she used to baby sit 🙂 she also used to give us 1c for every granny square we tied off and trimmed, as kids it seemed like a lot! I have never had the please of meeting anyone as gentle, generous, kind and loving with such a warm smile. Always looking to make people around her happy! Love and miss you zi !
