Tony Uncle, it was a blessing to have you as an Uncle. You were very protective of the family - my Mom felt safe because you were around even though we lived in a rough neighborhood. You kept in touch with each one of us even though we were separated by many miles, remembering our birthdays and anniversaries. You and Mercy Aunty made the long trip to visit us - something that we will always cherish. You built up your family helping your children and your relatives succeed. I will miss you and the conversations we had over Facetime. You bore your suffering with fortitude and grace. I am relieved that your ordeal is over and you are now with my Mom and your other siblings. Rest in Peace dear Uncle.

Anthony Uncle, our youngest uncle was born to play the part. He was the "fun" uncle. Full of joie de vivre, he enjoyed music and dancing, food, drinks and entertainment. In Mercy Aunty, he found the perfect spouse-- equally interested in the very same things. They were known for hosting parties and bringing friends and family together. And together, they raised a beautiful family whom Uncle was incredibly proud of. Relationships meant a great deal to him as he extended his love and generosity to his vast network of nieces and nephews. He called or texted on birthdays and was ready with good advice when needed. Uncle has left such a lasting impression on both me and Simon. We will deeply miss him. Tanya & Simon

Tony Uncle, I was so blessed to have the most exuberant godfather ever. You always managed to crack a smile from your grumpy grandniece, and I will always treasure our games of carrom, barbecue, adventures seeing penguins, transnational phone calls. Rest in peace, uncle and my thoughts and prayers are with your family
